1. Introduction

At Webbing, we are committed to the privacy and security of the data we hold about you. We take steps to ensure that data is used only for the purposes we state.

This policy applies to all data collected by Telroaming Advanced Communications Solutions Ltd. and its affiliates (d/b/a as Webbing) (excluding employment data). It applies to data of customers and their end users and data collected from contractors, suppliers, and other third parties with whom Webbing contracts. This privacy statement is designed to assist you in understanding how Webbing uses and safeguards the personal data it receives in the course of providing Webbing services or otherwise pursuant to your engagement with Webbing. You should read this policy along with the terms and conditions.

“You” refers to the data subject (the individual whose personal data we collect) and it also may refer to the relevant customer/supplier from whom we are collecting information. When we refer to personal data, we refer to any information that identifies you or that could be used to identify you. This includes obvious details like your name, email address, phone number or postal address as well as other information such as your IP address, device information or data collected through cookies and online usage.

2. Purpose of Information Collection

The purpose of this policy is to outline Webbing’s commitment to privacy and data security. It provides a framework for understanding how Webbing collects, uses, and protects your information. This policy aims to ensure transparency in our data handling practices.

Data is collected and may be used for the following main purposes:

  • Provision of Services: To provide you with optimal Webbing services.
  • Billing: To invoice you for your use of the Webbing service and for other billing purposes, including settling accounts with third parties that have provided services to Webbing, such as roaming providers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: To meet our regulatory obligations, which may include sharing your data with regulators, for example, in the event of a complaint.
  • Ensuring security and preventing fraud or misuse.
  • Measuring performance and improving user experience.
  • Modifying and improving our services and developing new products and services.

Webbing processes personal data where it has a lawful basis to do so, including for the performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or where it has a legitimate interest, provided such interests are not overridden by the individual’s rights and freedoms.

3. Information Collected

To provide you (or your customers) with a service, we need to have certain information about you, which may include your personal data.

  • Information collected from use of Website. When you use our website, located at https://webbingsolutions.com/,  and our portals, located at https://my1.iamwebbing.com, or https://my2.iamwebbing.com (collectively “Website”), we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our services. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, the date and time of your visit, and other technical information for security purposes and in order to detect fraud.  We may also collect information about how you navigate and engage with our site to help us understand usage patterns and improve our services. Some of this information is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8 for more details).
  • Registration Data.  When you sign up for our services, we will ask you (where appropriate) for your name, address, payment method and details, mobile phone number and email address. In case you are a company, we will ask for your company name and more identifying details. You may be required to provide contact details of individuals authorized to use the service on behalf of your organization.  We use this data to create and manage your account and in order to bill for services.
  • Customer Data Collected in the Course of Providing Services and Geolocation Data. In the course of providing services and in order to provide the services, we collect data about which of our services you have used, and when and where our services have been used, and the third-party provider used to provide the services.  This will include routing and durations which are known as “traffic data”.  Specifically, we note that we receive the cell identification tower number from which a communication originated.  The cell id tower number, together with information on the location of the cell id tower can be used to identify the location of an end user of a device that used our services. To provide proper service to customers, Webbing offers DPI, Deep Packet Inspection network filtering. With this service, you can choose to block application by type for your needs. For that use Webbing collects the application type you use when you are connected.
  • In addition, we note the following types of data which we collect in the course of providing services.
    • Device Identification Data: Data that identifies a device from which (or to which) electronic communications are sent (or received) may include Internet Protocol (IP) address, Media Access Control (MAC) address, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) number, Serial Number, and Unique Device Identifier (UDID).
    • Electronic Communications Metadata: Data processed in an electronic communications network for the purposes of transmitting, distributing, or exchanging electronic communications content (but excluding the electronic communications content), includes the data used to trace and identify the source and destination of a communication, data on the location of the device generated in the context of providing electronic communications services (geolocation data), and the date, time, duration, and type of communication.
  • Data Collected from Suppliers.  Webbing may collect other personal data from suppliers, including but not limited to names, contact details, business identification numbers, tax registration information, payment details, and any other data required for fulfilling contractual and legal obligations in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Aggregated Anonymous Data. We also note that we may collect, analyze and use anonymous data derived from the data otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.  We use this aggregated data for any purpose, including but not limited to improving Webbing’s programs, developing new products or services, benchmarking, analytics, research and marketing and since this data no longer identifies you, we treat this data as Webbing’s property.

4. Information Not Collected

Payment details – We use a third-party payment processor to process payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third-party processor, Stripe, whose use of your personal information is governed by its then current privacy policy.  For convenience, its privacy policy, to the best of our knowledge can be found at https://stripe.com/us/privacy.

Webbing does not collect or process special categories of personal data (such as biometric or health data) from customers, its end users, or suppliers, unless explicitly required by law, in which case appropriate safeguards are applied.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data, including traffic and usage data, only for as long as necessary to achieve which it was collected and processed, or for as long as required under applicable law. When the applicable retention period ends, personal data is securely deleted, anonymized, or segregated from active systems. Where immediate deletion is not feasible (e.g., in backup archives), the data will be securely stored and restricted from further processing until deletion is possible.  Retention schedules are defined in our internal data retention policy. Below we provide some additional detail regarding specific categories of data.

  • Traffic Data. Traffic data (such as call detail records, routing information, and connection logs) is retained only for the period necessary for billing, interconnection reconciliation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution, and thereafter deleted or anonymized.  As a general rule the traffic data will not be retained for longer than 13 months from the date of collection, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for security, regulatory, or tax/accounting purposes).
  • Customer account/billing Data. Information relating to customer accounts, contracts, and billing is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter for the period required by applicable law.
  • Supplier Data. Supplier data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill contractual, regulatory, and operational obligations, and no longer than permitted under applicable law.
  • Other data. Certain categories of data may be retained for longer periods, where required by statutory data retention obligations (e.g., under tax, anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, or telecommunications regulations); or where necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, in which case retention will be limited to the relevant statute of limitation period (e.g., up to 7 years in Israel, or longer under EU Member State law for specific claims)
  • Aggregated Statistical Data. Webbing may retain aggregated and statistical data that has been generated using the information it has collected for a longer period, but as these documents do not identify you as a user, they will not be used in a way that impacts your privacy.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

We may transfer your personal data to countries other than your own country, including to the United States. These countries may have data protection rules that are different from your country. When transferring data across borders, we take measures to comply with applicable data protection laws related to such transfer. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests from officials (such as law enforcement or security authorities).

Where applicable law requires a data transfer mechanism, we use one or more of the following:

  • Transfers to certain countries or recipients that are recognized as having an adequate level of protection for Personal Data under applicable law.
  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can obtain a copy of the relevant Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • or other legal methods available to us under applicable law, including transfers necessary for important reasons of public interest in the case of requests from law enforcement.

We note that in the provision of services your personal data will also be independently collected by the applicable host operator(s) (Roaming provider) in order to provide services to you in the country of the roaming provider, and this data will be processed in accordance with the roaming provider’(s) privacy policy. You can identify the applicable roaming provider at any given time on your device. We will then provide certain traffic data (also initially collected by such host operator) to such host operator in the context of settling accounts therewith.

7. Location of Storage

Information collected using Webbing’s services may be stored and processed in any country in which Webbing maintains facilities. In this regard, or for purposes of sharing or disclosing data in accordance with this policy, Webbing reserves the right to transfer information outside of your designated home country.  Webbing’s servers are located in Ireland and other EU countries.

8. Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that Webbing will transfer to your device’s hard drive through your browser to enable Webbing’s systems to recognize your browser. Cookies also enable Webbing to gather information about the use of its website and to enhance the website according to the preferences of the users. The Help option on the toolbar of most browsers will tell you how to manage and disable cookies altogether. Please bear in mind that some personalized services may not be available if you choose to disable cookies.

We note that we use “Google Analytics” on  https://webbingsolutions.com/ to help us track certain usage information about the site in order to improve our services and enhance the experience of users.  For example, we track page views, scrolls, outbound clicks, site searches, video engagements and file downloads.  The information gathered through the use of Google Analytics will be transferred and saved to Google’s servers in the United States. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics from your visits to our website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. We rely on the basis of your consent for the collection of the data from Google Analytics. 9. Information Sharing with 3rd Parties

  • Transactions for Billing: We may use third-party banking facilities and billing agencies to process your information. Third party network operators may also need access to your data for regulatory compliance purposes. We will ensure that such agencies conform to the same or similar guidelines as we do.
  • Compliance with Laws: Sometimes we may have to provide your personal data to third parties to comply with legal obligations. These include, but are not limited to, national regulators, for use in legal proceedings or even national security, if we receive a request from law enforcement. In these cases, we will comply with whatever laws are in force at the time applicable to us and provide such information as is required.
  • Supplier Data Sharing: Webbing may share supplier data with third-party service providers such as payment processors, compliance verification providers, or legal counsel, where necessary to administer contractual or legal obligations. These third parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
  • Service Providers: We will share data with our service providers in order to allow us to provide the services.
  • Roaming Providers: We will share certain traffic data with roaming providers, with whom we partner, in order to allow us to settle accounts with the roaming providers for services provided.The roaming providers also are independently collecting data in order to provide roaming services.

10. Data Subject Rights Regarding Processing of Data

Subject to the requirements and limitations of applicable law, you may have certain rights with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data. These rights may be subject to exemptions, may not be absolute, and their applicability may vary depending on the legal basis and purposes of the processing. Relevant laws include, without limitation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”); the GDPR as incorporated into United Kingdom law by section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (“UK GDPR”); the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (“FADP”); the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”); and other privacy laws that may apply in your jurisdiction (collectively, “Applicable Laws”).   • Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”). We may continue processing if we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or where necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.   • Right to Data Portability. The right to receive a copy of your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to request the transfer of that data to another data controller, where: (i) the processing is based on consent or a contract with you; and (ii) the processing is carried out by automated means.
  • Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Decision-Making. The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, except where permitted by Applicable Law.

If you are a resident of California, you may have additional rights under the CCPA, including: (i) the right to know the categories of Personal Data we collect, use, disclose, and, if applicable, sell or share; (ii) the right to request deletion of Personal Data under certain conditions; (iii) the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Data; and (iv) the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
