NEW YORK, NY – June 1, 2023 – Webbing, a global Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) connectivity provider for Enterprise Mobility and IoT, today announced the immediate availability of its inflight data connectivity service on any airline and aircraft connected by AeroMobile’s network.

In their continuous commitment to provide enterprises the flexibility to work anywhere seamlessly, Webbing and Aeromobile Communications Ltd., a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics, signed a roaming agreement to provide onboard data connectivity to Webbing’s customers. The inflight roaming option will allow traveling employees to remain securely connected when onboard the aircraft without having to purchase a Wi-Fi connectivity plan. It also allows Webbing customers that provide communication services to add inflight connectivity to their bundled offerings.

The onboard data connectivity service does not require any special settings and will work just like any other roaming service on the ground.

AeroMobile’s inflight network is currently available on 25 airlines including Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, EVA Air, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, TAP Air Portugal, EgyptAir and Uzbekistan Airways.

“The partnership with AeroMobile adds a new dimension to Webbing’s connectivity offering, expanding our network coverage beyond the borders of more than 190 countries and regions across all continents and literally above the clouds,” says Noam Lando, Co-Founder and CEO at Webbing.
